Rajzynfiber means “a fever before a trip” in Silesian language, which stands for a feeling of excitement that overwhelms us before an upcoming trip. For some, it manifests itself as a fear of leaving essential items at home, and for others, it means elevated levels of endorphins. Do you know the feeling?
We feel very excited even when we go to a neighboring city, because we always discover something new there. Therefore, we want to share our experiences with you, presenting guides to the cities of Upper Silesia, where you will find practical information on transportation, accommodation, gastronomy and ways to spend your free time.
The project was created in 2014 and for two years it presented the most interesting parts of Upper Silesian cities in the form of guides. During this time, twenty towns have been described, both on the Polish and Czech side of our little homeland. It was suspended for the most trivial reason: lack of free time.
Rajzynfiber has always been a non-profit project.
The year 2020 sees the reactivation of the project, which was reborn from the growing frustration of its founder and the need to react to low-quality Internet content related to Upper Silesia. Hence the idea that Rajzynfiber should not only be a tourist portal, but a website that will deal with slightly more controversial topics, so important for understanding today’s Upper Silesia.
